YOUR COVID SAFE TREATMENT

As per the Association of Reflexologists secure workplace policy, the following guidance will now be in place:

For treatments in your home:

• I will contact you before each treatment to and ask you to update a risk assessment form. This is to check that it is safe to go ahead with the reflexology.

• Treatments can be offered outside or in a comfortable space within your home.

• I will touch minimal surfaces in your home. 

• I will not ask you to touch any paperwork I bring into your home.

• I will wash or sanitise my hands before entering your home, and before and after your treatment. 

• I will use clean, dedicated clothes/uniforms for each treatment and will change between clients.

• All equipment and materials (such as the Lafuma chair, coverings, sanitisers etc will have been fully cleaned before they are brought into your home.

• The Lafuma chair will be covered by a sheet from your home to ensure your safety.  

• I will be wearing a facial covering and kindly ask you to wear one too if we are indoors. If you do not have a face covering, or have a reason not to wear one, please let me know prior to the treatment. Outdoor treatments may be carried out without a face covering.

• To minimalise what I bring in to your home, I will ask you to provide your own pillows and a blanket. If this is not possible, I will bring clean pillows and towels and take them away with me to wash.

• All waste will be taken away with me and disposed of in line with Government Guidelines.

• I will use cruelty free, biodegradable anti-bacterial wipes or spray to clean your feet before the treatment begins. All balms and lotions will be in sanitised containers, and fresh spatulas used per client as usual.

• All payments to be made remotely via Paypal or bank transfer.

For treatments in the Wellness Centre: 

• I will provide pillows and a covering for the chair. A fresh covering and linen will be used for each client. 

• I ask that you bring a drink of water and a blanket with you. 

• The treatment room will be aired between clients and all surfaces, door handles etc will be sanitised.

•  All payments to be made remotely via Paypal or bank transfer.

• Please note that I am not responsible for the cleaning of the refill shop at the front of the building though I will ensure that the front door handle is cleaned before the arrival of each client.
